What is the license on your products?

By purchasing and downloading files from the Contrastly Store, or downloading a free resource from Contrastly.com, you are being granted a license to use these files for specific uses under certain conditions.

Ownership and copyright of the product files remains with Contrastly and the respective copyright holders. You are granted the exclusive and non-transferable rights to use the purchased or downloaded resources under the following licensing terms:

  1. You may use this resource or adaptations of this resource in any personal or commercial single-use applications. This includes print applications, online or digital applications, and any other application where the resource is incorporated or used for one individual project or use.

  2. You are not required to attribute or link to Contrastly.

  3. You may include and use this resource in projects or applications that will be sold to a single individual or organization, for a single use. For example, you may use the Contrastly Lightroom presets to edit a photograph for a client from which you are receiving monetary compensation to complete a job.

  4. You may not redistribute, resell, lease, license, or sub-license any of the resources you purchased or downloaded from Contrastly.com. And you may not upload those resources to other websites.

  5. You may not use this resource in multi-use applications. This includes distribution, sale, or resale of any products that contain this resource. Any application that will distribute or use this file for multiple applications is governed by the Extended License, for more information about the Extended License, please contact us.

We should note that if you use our presets or actions to edit any of your own photographs, you still retain copyright on the original and edited image and you are allowed to sell the resulting image or receive monetary compensation. Your images are your own and we do not claim ownership. For as long as you don’t redistribute, resell, or repackage our product files, we’re good.
