Last Updated on April 29, 2018

ePub is an ebook file format with the extension .epub that can be downloaded and read on devices like smartphones, tablets, computers, or e-readers.

PDF is, without question, the industry standard for ebooks. All of the ebooks you’ll find in the Contrastly Store are in the PDF format… with the exception of our Cameras in the Wild ebook.

Cameras in the Wild comes as both a PDF file and an ePub file. ePub files can be opened and synced to many devices that support this format, such as the Kindle e-reader device.

ePub is a technical standard published by the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF). The term is short for electronic publication and is sometimes styled ePub. You can read more about this on Wikipedia.
